The Dune and Oppenheimer star recently opened up about her personal life and shared that she is officially in a new romantic relationship. But she remained tight-lipped about her partner’s name.
Pugh has been linked to Peaky Blinders actor Finn Cole in recent weeks, as reported by The Sun.
They were reportedly seen together at several high-profile events, including the premiere and after-party of The Perfect Couple in London.
In a recent interview with British Vogue, Pugh was asked if she was currently in a relationship.
She responded, “I am.”
“Something that I resonate with is that I believe if magic is real, then it’s falling in love.”
“And I am someone that loves falling in love,” she added.
“I love looking after people. I love caring for people. I love the feeling of someone being there.”
Pugh also shared some of her thoughts on love and relationships.
She went on, “I love knowing that someone is thinking about me and someone cares for me in the same way that I’m thinking about caring for them.”
“I think in this portion of my life, I’m trying to make sure that I’m making all the right decisions so that I can have the thing that I want… which is safety, family, a home and security.”
Pugh explained that she and her partner hadn’t defined their relationship with a label, but mentioned that, for the first time in her life, she wasn’t letting herself “go on a roller-coaster” of emotions.
She continued, “I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.”
“Falling is the most amazing feeling, but unfortunately if that’s the only thing that you know in a relationship, then that’s the thing that you chase. That’s not gonna last.”
While discussing her new romance, Pugh also reflected on her previous relationship with actor Zach Braff which ended in 2022.
The couple faced public scrutiny due to their 21-year age gap.
She explained, “I had to be public in the past because people were bullying me and bullying my partner.
“Mine and Zach’s relationship was actually quite private until it was nasty, and I could see the toll that it was taking on him and us and our families. And that’s when I spoke out.
She also added, “I think for anyone I’m with, I want to protect them,” Pugh continued. “It’s not nice knowing that people are saying the worst things I’ve ever read about someone that I love.
“So that was necessary. I needed to talk about it. I think any relationship in this limelight is going to be stressed.”

50 Cent has taken aim at Sean “Diddy” Combs following his recent arrest in New York.
Combs was taken into police custody Monday night on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.
Following the arrest, 50 Cent, who has a long-standing feud with Combs, posted a photo of himself with Drew Barrymore on social media.
In the caption, he wrote, “Here I am keeping good company with @DrewBarrymoreTV and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.”
The comment was a direct jab at Combs, referencing the revelation that federal agents had seized over 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil during raids on Combs’ properties in March.
The ongoing feud between 50 Cent and Diddy has been brewing for years, but recent events have brought it back into the spotlight.
The Queens rapper, famous for his social media antics, seized the chance to poke fun at Diddy’s legal issues while revealing his own plans to benefit from the situation.
According to 50 Cent, he’s working on a documentary, tentatively titled Diddy Do It?, which aims to explore the allegations in depth.
The 14-page indictment outlined numerous accusations against Diddy and alleges that he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him.”
Some of the incidents, according to the indictment, were carried out to satisfy “his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct,” with some dating back to 2009.
The documents further stated that Diddy “engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals” and that “this abuse was, at times, verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual.”
During raids on Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles mansions, federal agents reportedly found 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil, along with three AR-15 rifles, which were allegedly used during the “Freak Offs”.
Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has defended his client and labelled the arrest as “an example of unjust prosecution.”
In a public statement, Agnifilo admitted that Combs “is not a perfect person” but emphasized that he “has done nothing illegal.”
He urged the public to reserve judgment, stating, “These are the acts of an innocent man, and he looks forward to his day in court.”
