Fans think they now understand meaning of brutal Eminem lyrics they actually think is a Diddy diss

Eminem has done his fair share of Diddy disses in the past and fans are now analysing yet another track where he appears to take aim at the music mogul.

The song off his new album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) came out in July, months before Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested in New York on racketeering and sex trafficking charges last week.

Combs, 54, is set to remain behind bars until his trial begins after his bail requests have been rejected.

Meanwhile, Eminem has been dropping Diddy's name in songs since 1996, and fans will no doubt remember his bars from 2018's Machine Gun Kelly disstrack 'Killshot', when he rapped: "Kells, the day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed."

As ever, Slim Shady doesn't hold back in a song called 'Fuel' from his new album.

After Fuel went viral online, fans are now realising that he's calling Diddy by his old stage names 'Puff Daddy' and 'P Diddy'.

"Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effect of Tupac’s murder, like facial tissue, whose clock should I clean next? Puff’s? ‘Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?" Eminem raps.

Later in the song he adds: "A R-A-P-E-R. Got so many S-As, S-As.

"Wait, he didn't just spell RAPPER and leave out a P, did he?…"

Rap fans have since taken to social media to explain how 'Eminem and 50 Cent have been chasing P Diddy for years'.

"Eminem literally two steps ahead," one person wrote, as another added: "I feel like alot of people don't realise that Eminem has constantly commented on how much he disliked Diddy for over the past 20 years."

Eminem also dissed Diddy on another song from the new album in 'Antichrist'.

He appeared to reference allegations from his ex Cassie Ventura amid a video of him kicking her in a hotel, which Diddy has since apologised for.

The Detroit rapper said: "Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did.

"But on the real, though. She prolly ran out the room with his f**king dildo.

"He try to field goal punt her, she said to chill. Now put it back in my ass and get the steel toe."

This comes after a wave of fresh allegations by a woman named Thalia Graves who has alleged that Diddy and his head of security raped her and recorded it on video at his New York recording studio in 2001, according to a new lawsuit.

Eminem fans concerned after seeing name of his new album dropping this year
Let's hope he picked it because it sounds cool and not for a deeper meaning

It's good news for Eminem fans today as the rapper has announced a new album, but the name has some of them worried about what might be to come.

While plenty were celebrating getting more songs from their favourite rapper, with many saying they 'can't wait', it seems theres an underlying concern.

See, the name of Eminem's upcoming album is The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) and that has been somewhat provocative in the rap community.

If Slim Shady is dead then that's it for him and his music, or so you'd think, and a bunch of the rapper's fans are despairing that it might be the signal for a curtain call on an illustrious career.

Someone said it 'could be the final Eminem album' as they shared the definition of 'coup de grace' being 'a final blow or shot given to kill a wounded person or animal'.

"Is the curtain closing?" another wondered, while someone else begged: "Please don't be the last album."

"Slim Shady is back!!! This is the version of Eminem we've been waiting on!" a fan declared, seemingly oblivious to the rather fatalistic undertones of the new album's title.

Concerned fans are one thing but perhaps the title has just been picked because it sounds cool and builds up some dramatic hype.

On top of that Eminem has previously explained that he's got three different personas so even if it's the end of Slim Shady you might not want to count out Eminem or Marshall Mathers just yet.

Nonetheless, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) is set to be released this summer so that's something to look forward to.

The rapper celebrated his 51st birthday last year and that had some of his fans shaking in their metaphorical boots as he'd previously dropped hints that he was looking to retire at around the 50 mark.

During an interview Eminem gave when he was 37 he said he was 'always going to love hip-hop' but wondered how much longer he'd be performing for.

He said: "I do love it so much. But even if I was rapping at 50, I don’t know if I would put it out.

"I know it always makes me feel better to lay things to tape, and - 'Lay the tape'.

"See, I’m old school. The fans might say the s**t is garbage. You don’t how long people are going to want you around...

"Realistically, if I don’t rap, what the f**k am I going to do? It’s too late to just be unfamous right now at this point."

Eminem proved his genius by showing that something does actually rhyme with orange
You say, 'potato,' I say, 'potato' and Eminem has a whole different approach to the word orange

You say, 'potato,' I say, 'potato' and Eminem has a whole different approach to the word orange.

There may not technically be any word which rhymes with the word 'orange' which can be found in the Oxford English Dictionary, but in the real Slim Shady's book, the rules are different.

Proving why there's a reason he's known to so many as the 'Rap God,' Eminem explained how he approaches the word 'orange' in an interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes in 2011.

Oh, and the rapper has proven not only one, but many words can, in fact, rhyme with the name of the citrus fruit.

Basically, you have to think about it like a bit of mind game or mental psychokinesis.

Instead of desperately Googling words which sound like the word orange, Eminem - real name Marshall Mathers - revealed if you take the focus off 'orange' and place it on other words, then you can bend the word to make it more like others instead.

He said: "The word orange doesn’t rhyme with anything, and it kind of p****s me off because I can think of a lot of things that rhyme with orange.

“If you’re taking the word at face value, and you just say ‘orange’, nothing is going to rhyme with it exactly.

“If you enunciate it and make it more than one syllable, or-ange, you can say, like, I put my or-ange, four inch, door hinge in stor-age and ate porr-idge with Geo-rge."

Take that you difficult to rhyme with piece of citrus fruit.

And Eminem fans still can't get over his 'lyrical genius', flooding to social media in praise of the rapper after the clip resurfaced.

One X - formerly known as Twitter - user said: "One of the best rappers of all time."

Another echoed: "Eminem is and always will be a lyrical genius. The best ever."

A third added: "GOAT for a reason!"

And a final resolved: "Eminem's linguistic agility never fails to amaze! The way he bends words to his will and finds rhymes where most can't, like with 'orange' shows his genius in full flow. Language is a playground for this guy, and watching him at work is a masterclass in creativity with words."

And if Eminem can defeat the word orange? Well, despite Benzino hitting back at his diss track mention with another diss track himself, the real Slim Shady should have no problem coming out on top.Featured Image Credit: CBS

OG Eminem fans spot incredible 28-year-old forgotten reference in opening track to new album
Eminem can still flow like he used to

Eminem fans who've been here since the very beginning reckon they've spotted a reference in his latest album.

The legendary rapper dropped The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) today (12 July) and has told people they should listen to the tracks in order to get a better idea of what's going on.

It's album number 12 for Eminem and people are already picking up what he was putting down with the lyrics.

In one of the tracks, 'Temporary', Slim Shady lets his daughter Hailie know that things will be OK once he's gone, and there's plenty of his fans readily admitting that it made them cry.

Then of course there's the 'hardest Diddy diss' contained within the songs 'Antichrist' and 'Fuel', where he really gives the guy both barrels.

However, this latest observation from his OG fans is all about the opening song to the new album.

That first track on The Death of Slim Shady is titled 'Renaissance', and while it might be a kind of rebirth for the rapper there are plenty of fans who reckon it's a throwback to his opening days.

"God damn this flow! Takes me back to 15 year old me listening to slim shady LP for the first time," one fan said.

Someone else said it was 'his Infinite flow and voice' and wished it had been a longer song.

Infinite was Eminem's debut album that was released back in 1996, and his fans think that The Death of Slim Shady shows he can still spit bars like he used to back in the day.

Others said that 'Renaissance' 'def has Infinite vibes' and put this track first to 'show people he can still do this flow'.

Some thought it came from a few years later, saying the track was 'straight 2003-2005 flow', and 'sounds more like Encore than Infinite'.

Encore was Eminem's fifth studio album, released in 2004, and while his devotees are split over exactly which era the rapper was hearkening back to with his flow in 'Renaissance' they're sure that it's a great throwback to his earlier work.

Elsewhere in the album the song 'Houdini', which was released back on 31 May, had his fans declaring that 'real rap is back'.

That one had them thinking of the old days as well, not least because Eminem opened it with the lyrics 'guess who's back, back again'.
