The anthology film, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, recently became available for streaming in the UK on Disney+, catching some audiences off guard with its explicit content.
Kinds of Kindness follows Stone’s character Eloise as she encounters various individuals across different cities.
The controversial scene occurs in the second of the film’s three parts, where Stone plays a marine biologist who was lost at sea. After her return, she engages in an unexpected orgy with her husband (Jesse Plemons) and another couple.
The sudden cut to full-frontal nudity and the intense nature of the scene has left some viewers feeling unprepared.
One fan commented, “Kinds of Kindness being available on Disney Plus feels weird and unnatural, like seeing a crocodile at the dog park.”
“I mean I’m glad it’s there so I can watch it, but I feel like there should be a warning label or something.”
Another one added, “Why tf is this associated with Disney Plus? It’s too dark and really weird. It’s too much #KindsOfKindness.”
Despite the controversy, Stone has expressed her trust in Lanthimos’ direction.
At the Cannes Film Festival, she told The Guardian, “I trust him beyond the trust I have had with any director – and I have worked with some great directors. I feel I can do anything with him.”
Stone received numerous accolades last year for her portrayal of Bella Baxter, a woman with the mind of an infant, in Poor Things. The film also drew attention for its depiction of controversial sex scenes.
Kinds of Kindness also stars Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, and Hong Chau in key roles.
The film is now streaming on Disney+ in the UK.

Fans in tears over Jenna Ortega’s last moments with Cameron Boyce during ‘awkward’ audition

Fans were moved to tears as Jenna Ortega recently shared details about her last interaction with the late Cameron Boyce.
The Wednesday star opened up about a poignant audition experience she had with Boyce shortly before his untimely passing in 2019.
In an interview with France’s Canal+ , while promoting Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Ortega recounted the memory alongside co-stars Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara.
The actress revealed that she and Boyce, who had known each other since she was 11 or 12, were called in to audition as love interests when she was around 15 or 16.
According to Ortega, the audition required them to kiss, but both actors felt uncomfortable with the situation.
Ortega explained, “Because he obviously felt weird and he was a bit older, he was like — we both just kinda looked at each other and we were like, ‘No, we can’t do this.'”
The Scream VI star went on to describe Boyce’s considerate actions, saying, “It was so sweet because I was uncomfortable and I was having a hard time… and then, we wished each other well.”
Cameron Boyce, known for his roles in Disney Channel’s Jessie and Descendants, tragically passed away at the age of 20 due to complications from epilepsy.
This heartfelt story has evoked strong reactions from fans, many of whom are still mourning Boyce’s passing.
One fan posted on X, “He really was such a gentleman- a very sad loss to the world.”

British professional quizzer Anne Hegerty, who is well known as “The Governess” on the popular quiz show The Chase, has revealed which movie franchises she would love to star in.
Her recent role as nosey neighbour Barb, in a short film that was shown at the Genesis Theatre in London, has made Anne want to continue her on-screen acting career.
Whilst talking to BBC Counties radio, Hegerty revealed her dream movies she wishes to be in “I like an action movie, not that I’m very good at action but I can be the person that sits behind the desk and tells everybody to go out.”
“I’d love to be in the next James Bond film, I’d love to be in the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe], anything like that,” Hegerty revealed.
“I’ve always been interested in cinema since I was a child,” she added.
“So anybody that has anything to offer will be absolutely fine.”
However, The Chase star revealed she would not be giving up her role as “The Governess” anytime soon, stating that “The Chase always comes first”.
She continued to discuss her role in the short film: “It’s the first time I’ve done any cinema acting, it was brilliant, I’d love to do more.”
Could Hegerty be up for a villain role in a future franchise movie project?
Perhaps she may just be keen on at least getting some sort of cameo in the MCU, only time will tell!
